In the world of stress and tension, people have forgotten the true meaning of happiness. Many people are just doing things in order to stay in the race of status and do things that society perceives to be true happiness. They are not happy from the inside and are just trying to look like they are happy. In this blog, Rubina Ratnakar tries to explore true happiness and how can one achieve it.
True happiness can be defined as a state of mind when a person is too happy about everything without any special or fancy event happening around him. Happiness is the peace of mind, body, and soul. If you are facing a lot of struggle in life, you may be looking for a milestone to achieve. You may be thinking that after that achievement, you will be truly happy. This is not the truth. A man’s desires never end. He may have everything and may still mourn over the things he doesn’t have. So, if you want to be internally happy, you should try to look inside yourself and see what actually makes you happy.
Pain and suffering are the main obstacles in the way of true happiness. If you have lost something you loved a lot or lost a loved one, you would be suffering from a lot of emotional stress. We cannot accept the end of anything we love. If you look inside yourself and accept things the way they are, you will start feeling a lot better.
If you want to be happy from the inside you should start prioritizing yourself and your emotions. Do not sacrifice or adjust too much with people. We lose happiness when we stop living for ourselves and do everything for others. It is good to behave well with people but you should not do more than you can.
Mindfulness and gratitude are the keys to happiness. Always be thankful for what you have in spite of dreaming for what more you can achieve.
Your true happiness lies within you, only the right perspective is needed.
