If you have any habit that involves large consumption of caffeine and alcohol, this may be the reason behind your insomnia. You should cut these habits immediately. Both these beverages are used to avoid sleeping and stay awake at the time you don’t want to sleep.

There are times when you take some medication and they cause an inverse reaction or side effect on your body. If you are taking some medicine for any problem in your body on a regular basis, you should consult your doctor. He or she will change your medications that won’t hamper your sleep cycle.

You should avoid eating anything just before going to bed. You should be relaxing your body to fall asleep. Eating something will charge your body and might become a reason behind you not falling asleep.

You should also consider the environment of your room. Is it perfect for sleeping? Is there any disturbing noise in your room? You have to think of everything that may affect your sleep.
